The South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX) is launching a new initiative that will bring stock prices and market movements directly to your television screens.
For the very first time, Fijians will have the opportunity to stay informed about the stock market through a monthly segment on Fiji Television.
This year-long collaboration aims to break down the complexities of investing and make financial information accessible to everyone.
The segments will cover a range of topics related to the stock market, helping viewers understand how it works and why it matters.
A representative from SPX shared, “This objective is very much in line with our objective to create awareness on the stock market among everyday Fijians in all facets of life in a simplified manner to take stock markets to their homes.
”The CEO of SPX expressed hope that this initiative will inspire more Fijians to consider investing. “The banking systems and other tools in Fiji for investment exist; the stock market is also one of them, and hopefully this collaboration series of episodes will help in more awareness and educate the public about stock market investments.
